2020–2021 Concert Series
August 27, 2020
It is with deep regret the 2020-21 season of Music by the River has been cancelled. This hard decision was made keeping in mind the safety and health of not only our audience, but of our performers as well during this COVID crisis.
We have already begun the planning for the 2021-22 season!
We look forward with great anticipation welcoming St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral's new music director, Jordan Markham. Jordan graduated from Bloomsburg University and studied at The Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore.
A classically trained baritone, Jordan has sung as an adult chorister both as soloist and choir member in The Men and Boy Choir at the Washington National Cathedral, with the Baltimore Symphony, at Carnegie Hall and the Handel Choir of Baltimore to name few.
Active in theater as well as musical performance, he was last seen on stage at The Forum in The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra's performance of South Pacific.
Music by the River will be back! Hope to see you soon again! Stay well!
